Hello Podcast listeners and Jubilee fans.  This episode introduces Frederick Loudin who was born free, older than the other students, and never enrolled into the Fisk Freed-Colored School; yet, he became one of the original Fisk Jubilee Singers, Professor White's confidant, and eventually started his own chapter of Jubilee Singers.  

Hello listeners.  Now that the freedom bell has rang, please look forward to the launch of our sister show, "Dreams Delayed", where Author and Playwright Jamima B. Jones interprets and narrates key portions of the Thirteenth Amendment, the Emancipation Proclamation and the Compensated Emancipation Act.  These three key pieces of legislation, stored in the Library of Congress, paved the way to 'freedom'.  However, our dreams of true freedom have been delayed.
