This week’s highlights include: The Twisted Twins turned out to be quadruplets with four songs called ‘’One More Time’, we heard from The Winery Dogs, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Jackson, and Queensrÿche.
This week we had Dire Straits in on the Immortals. The track comes from Love Over Gold and it never gets a look in because Telegraph Road and Private Investigations are so good. It was time for ‘It Never Rains’ to get a little love.
This week we were fortunate to have an artist in ‘The Local Hero’ slot – Garry McCluskey aka GAZ has a brand new track called ‘My New Skin’ and I chatted to him about it.
The Diabolical Challenge we changed things a bit and looked at 4 classic live albums. If you grew up in the ‘70s you probably have these in your collection:

I could not believe I had not played this track in the Immortals slot yet. This marks a huge correction, the track played was ‘Red Arm Blues’, an incredible track by the Waterboys, if you know your history you should get goosebumps here.

The Dogs were huge on the SA live scene in the late 80s. If you saw them at 2 a.m. in Dylan's in Rocky Street back in the day, you will never forget it.
