The Story

Super excited to announce our next guest, Hunter C. Wood, to The Story!

Passionate about worship and helping people draw closer to God through it, Hunter loves serving the church by serving as a Worship Director at Victory Church, PA! Hunter currently serves as the worship director for the Ephrata campus, and a student worship director at the main Greenfield Campus.

Originally from Connecticut, Hunter and his fiancée Aly met at Lancaster Bible College. There he was part of the LBC traveling worship team, MBSSY. Psalm 95:1, which calls us to worship the Lord by making a joyful noise to Him, is what Hunter’s passion in ministry is all about! (He also recommends that everyone read the book “Worship Matters!” by Bob Kauflin, which brings a fresh perspective on what praising God should be.)

Hunter’s favorite things include the Boston Red Sox, Chick-Fil-A, making music in the studio, and hanging out with friends at the golf course.

Super hyped to announce new guest, RJ Conrad, to The Story!

R.J. Conrad is from Enola, PA where he lives with his wife and their three young children. He formed his band Rascal Revival in 2017 as a folk trio & they have grown to a full 6-piece band in recent years. They've made some noise locally opening for bands like Switch Fu, Medusa's Disco, and national touring artist, Keller Williams. Along with leading Rascal Revival, you can find R.J. playing solo acoustic gigs (even some acoustic duo gigs with lead guitarist Jake Joyce) at some of the area's wineries, vineyards, bars, and live music venues. If you ask him, his most important work is done during the day, staying home to raise his three children who are not only an inspiration to his songwriting, but sometimes even help with the process!

We are SUPER ecstatic to announce two new guests, Matt and Carol, to The Story!

Matt & Carol are married best-friends entertaining and touching lives with a guitar and two voices for over 30 years.

Matt & Carol have a lot of fun onstage. Since the late 1980s, their music has carried audiences through laughter and tears, telling stories and moving them closer to the ones they love.

Carol’s charming voice calls the listener back to the days of Amy Grant, Karen Carpenter and Patsy Cline, while Matt’s guitar provides a musical foundation built on layers of country, folk, and jazz. Smooth, sparkling harmonies mix with powerful emotion to breathe new life into modern hits, traditional standards, hymns, and their own heart-warming songs celebrating real life and real love.

They’ve appeared in concert from New Jersey to Nashville, performing over 350 events each year (close to 4,000 since 2010).

You May Have Seen Them At Events Sponsored By:

American Cruise Lines, Berkshire Hathaway, ORVIS Stores, Dickey's BBQ Pit, US ARMY, National Street Rod Association,

York Revolution & Lancaster Barnstormers Baseball, National Day Of Prayer, and more.

"Our love started in music," Matt says, "We've played together as friends since 1988 and as husband/wife since 1993. Sometimes it was hard and it looked like we wouldn't make it, but we weren't quitting. As we revealed ourselves to God and each other, He healed us and brought us into the SweetLife; hence the name. And we’re still best friends after all these years." Carol agrees, "Music's a huge part of our marriage, and that relationship is the foundation for our songs."

They've created/released five full-length recordings and dozens of singles. With roughly 1,000 song credits, they're still writing their own love story and creating “snapshots” of important moments & family events. Their latest full-length release (self-titled SWEETLIFE) is their closest audio representation of their hearts & minds so far."
