Sam calls Angela and learns that the raid was cancelled last night. She isn't ready to share her adventures with her protective friends. Charles is ever the gentleman and validates her hobbies.  

They pick up Bowser from Mrs. Whipple, who goes gaga over Charles. Bowser does as well, and when Marshall sees this, he goes ballistic. We discuss Marshall's unhealthy people pleasing needs.  

The episode ends with an awesome joke, and Charles being delighted at Sam's invitation.

Lauren tries to get to the roof but is attacked by Birdbrain (the Messenger).They both use their ninja skills (circus skills?) on the catwalk, landing up on the roof, where Birdbrain chokes Lauren and grinds their knee into Lauren's wound. We speculate as to the identity of the Messenger- Rafael? Athena? Someone who know and dislikes Lauren personally?  

Kym sees this going on and using the superhuman strength reserved to people in situations of extreme duress, manages to extricate herself from under the debris, just in time to save the day for Lauren.  

The Messenger, however, even while slipping, manages to overbalance Kym and... throw her off the roof.  At the last minute, Lauren rescues Kym- twice- and pulls her into a bear hug, crying. Kym flashes back to all the other hugs they've shared, realizing that this is certainly Lauren. She tells her to go before she gets arrested, and Lauren escapes.

We resume the conversation at the cafe. Turns out Jacob and Erdene already knew that Quincy was clan, which leaves us wondering what it was that Erdene was wondering if she could tell Jacob. We receive confirmation that Erdene’s dad’s company has had clan dealings, and we’re sure it will resurface later in the story.

They discuss Poppy’s decision to continue pursuing Mr. Lam, and Erdene defends her decision not to warn Poppy about---- we’re not sure. We debate this approach, something Quincy himself acknowledges is an uncertain subject. We end with a reference to future action which we’re sure is a hint to the readers.

We now move to Poppy at the hospital in Moonbright, and learn that Granny checked in under her maiden name, Kim Pearl instead of Kim Fleur. She and Granny argue. It seems Granny wants Poppy back and was kinda subversive about getting her way. They reconcile, but Granny lets a few… interesting statements slip. What does Granny know?

Our final scene shows Tora making his rounds, and realizing that Poppy’s address must have been swapped in the system. We speculate as to why and when and who. We engage in a very important debate about glasses. And oh, if you’re curious about our sex lives, this is the episode to listen to.

We open the episode with a frightening adjurement to a circus-tattooed person to capture (only) one of the Lune members alive.  

While Lauren marvels at Kieran's sharpshooting ability, he pulls her to safety and freaks out over her being shot. We freak out over him freaking out and his face touch! And her hand touch when she tries to calm him down. We theorize that Kieran is traumatized with what happened to his protectee. Regardless, their connection is strengthening and we are in love.  

While Lauren and Kieran decide to go save the day, Will and Kym are trying to save Lukas, who hasn't lost his sharp tongue.  

The PS member takes advantage of Lauki's catwalk, and shoots some piping straight down, separating the catwalk and our beloved couples.  

Both Lauren and Kym urge their partner to go on, promising to reunite... And we all know what happens to dramatic promises made in times of crisis.

Lauren, being Lauren, insists that she can walk after her three story fall, but unsurprisingly, she can't.  Nevertheless, when Kieran swoops her off her feet, she repays him for his kindness by bashing her head against his.   

Eventually, she calms down enough for them to have a conversation while she is piggybacking on his back across Ardhalis. She tells him of her discovery that Harvey was a spy, and Kieran shares possible reasons for Harvey joining, something that shows us his sympathetic and understanding side.  

After Lauren nearly falls asleep, Kieran dumps her, because they have arrived at.... his apartment.

Tora comes barging in, knocking over our poor PTSD Jacob. Erdene tells them where Poppy went, and Tora immediately propels himself out of there, ponytail flying.

Erdene and Quincy have a silent exchange, until Quincy reveals that he told Erdene something the day before. What it is, we aren't sure.

They meet at a cafe, where, perhaps being eavesdropped on by an orange-hatted fellow, Quincy drops the bomb that Poppy's life may be in danger. Did Erdene know something more, or does she think it's only Julri, whom she and Jacob squabble over?

In any case, Quincy decides to let them in on more info, starting off with what he and Tora are involved in...

Meanwhile, Poppy is on the train, with no reception and no battery (of course). She is reviewing her texts, and we see that she felt comfortable enough to invite Tora to Moonbright, which is great given how horribly Julri treated her, as we can see in Poppy's flashback. WE. HATE. JULRI. But we love that this story is about healing and growth.

Our final scene shows us a family emerging from a lovely house numbered 31, with Mommy blushing for Professor Tora (insert all corny jokes here). Tora is confused, looking at a text from Ronzo telling him this is Poppy's address, and we speculate on all kinds of theories.

We flashback to Marshall’s childhood, where we see the pressure his father places on both siblings. Eva is clearly under a lot of pressure, and Marshall takes on the role of goofball to make his mom feel better.   

Unfortunately, the mental burden takes its toll, and Benji’s face cracks. Who is he? Marshall, or Benji? Whoever he is, it’s clear his father doesn’t value him, and in fact, crushes him.  

Marshall wakes up, shaken, but luckily, able to call his mother for comfort.

Flemmings opens the door, enters his room, and, much to sweating Lauren's anxiety, retrieves the documents from under his bed... where Lauren happens to be hiding. He cocks his gun and Lauren thinks she's done for, but luckily, he merely leaves the room.   

When he is gone, Lauren looks at the report and receives a shock.  

Back at the bar, Bella reveals the information that Lauren is now uncovering... that Harvey was a spy.   

Flemmings returns, and Lauren once again panics, trying to find a place to hide. She chooses to suspend herself on a branch out the window, and sadly for her, also falls down to the ground, thwacking her way down.  

On the ground, she is met by Kieran, who displays the most comforting and understanding behavior.
