The Str8OutDaDen Podcast

How many of you been rocking with Da Den for the past couple of years? If that's you then you should remember when we had Tennessee's own Brown on the show. Now going by his government name, this episode is the return of Brian Brown.

We talk his upcoming project Journey, his battle with depression and how he overcame it, his connection with Isaiah Rashad and the House and more. None of that matters more than the fact we brought back Vinyl Conversations!

Last time around Brown spazzed out over Eddie Murphy. This week the task was a bit easy, but the bars were incredible and off the top.

According to Wikipedia Clickbait is a pejorative term describing web content that is aimed at generating online advertising revenue, especially at the expense of quality or accuracy, relying on sensationalist headlines or eye-catching thumbnail pictures to attract click-throughs and to encourage forwarding of the material over online social networks.

Now I know that's a mouthful, but basically its trolling to get people to see your content. In today's podcast we talk with Fredericksburg, VA native Mark Sre about how he used this method to gain notoriety for his single "Save It For Later".

We go over the pros and cons and debate over whether or not this is an effective tactic for gaining fans.

This week was what I like to call an open week for the podcast. I didn't have anything specific that I wanted to cover. When this happens I simply ask the listeners to send me questions.

One of those questions came from an artist by the name of J-Coop. The question he asked sparked this conversation and what I'm calling my most personal podcast to date.

So what did he ask? How to quit your job and follow your passion? That was the million dollar question. Trust me you want to hear my answer.
