The Straight Cut

For this week's show we just sit down and hit record. We hit in topics all over the board. Our love affair with pens and pencils, who we were in high school and trads vs college. We tease a few shows coming up while smoking the new Tatuaje T110 Broadleaf.

On this weeks show, we have our favorite local brewery in the lounge. Ian and Megan from Stone's Throw Brewing stop by bringing the fun and drinks. We sample four different beers that they produce while smoking the Crux Limitada PB5. We dive into dancing, history of beer and how to make home made cider. Grab a cold one and light one up for a fun show that is right in our wheelhouse, beer and cigars.

What happens when Aaron, Mark and Steve are back in the same room? A little bit of knowledge and a load of BS. We talked about the Tour de France, destination wedding and old episode names. Just a few of the nonsense we get into while smoking the Ashton Symmetry.

On this week we talk about the Euro 2020 tournament going on, our love of one off cigars and whether we smoke them or not and what we like to pair with out smokes. While smoking the Surrogates Tramp Stamp we talk about our birthdays and why oh why did Aaron do the math. We also give an update on Ian's health. Another week, another show of shenanigans.

Aaron, Mark and Brandon welcome Jonathan Carney, the Vice President of Sales for La Flor Dominicana. We all smoke a special Air Bender Maduro made exclusively for our shop. You will get plenty of food talk along with the normal nonsense like how dentistry is still kind of barbaric and talks of Nairing of body parts. After 10 days Aaron and Mark meet back up for a cigar and talk about an explosive situation involving slip 'n slides and a whale in the news. We smoke the Crux Guild as West End gets ready to host another event.

For this hybrid show Aaron, Mark, Josh and Kevin smoke the Room 101 while talking about donkey basketball, insects and cigars. Kevin fills us in on his first trip to TPE with Martinez and we hear about some upcoming things we should be seeing in the humidor.

This week our friend Caleb is in town so we give him the mic as we talk about our favorite vacations growing up and what our dream vacation would be. We hear about camping, time on the beach and baseball. Aaron gets on his soapbox to die and talk about some journalism news.

After 14 months our home lounge is finally hosting an event. We welcome the very first cigar to ever grace the humidor at West End Cigars seven years ago. The one and only Perdomo. Aaron smokes the Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage Connecticut, Mark has the Perdomo 10th Anniversary and Doug has the Perdomo Habano Sungrown. We talk about what we have missed with events and touch on some house keeping things involving our home shop.

For this weeks show Aaron and Mark smoke the My Father Le Bijou 1922. While smoking this fine cigar they talk about the first live sporting event they went to in 16 months, the rules of standing at concerts and a serial killer and super hero we have roaming our city. at the end of the show Aaron breaks some news and then picks up 96 hours later after a series of events.
