The Strands That Bind Us –
Today on the strands that bind us, Drew and I speak to what we have learned through our own experiences and conversations with peers on the business side of our industry which is often an undereducated topic for many of us.
For many hairstylists, there is a desire we experience that transitions from working behind the chair at another individuals salon, as an employee of a company, or maybe assisting someone else, to branching out and starting something of our own. As understandable as it is to “spread our own wings,” it’s often a path traveled without much light shed on the road ahead with many obstacles and unknowns that can cause anxiety, stress, and issues both in personal and professional sides of our lives.
While we may not have experienced everything there is out there to be experts on this topic, we wanted to share more of our own process and struggles in hopes that it is able to help some of our peers and friends both in and out of the hair industry and in any element of business in general.
Join us and listen to Matthew and Drew’s “Building a Small Business, the Woes and the Wins.”
