Her story took national headlines on February 19th, 2013 when her body was found in a large water tank on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, California. She was only 21 years old at the time of her death. Her parents had reported her missing 3 weeks prior to her being found. Elisa’s death was ultimately ruled as an accident, and her case was closed. However, many people from all over the world believe that something more sinister could’ve possibly happened. The Cecil Hotel is one of the most haunted locations in the U.S, and many believe that maybe supernatural forces played a part in Elisa’s disappearance and death.
