Jesus Payan Jr. is an actor who is well known for his role as Gonzo on the Hit Series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, along with numerous other movies with Steven Segal and Mark Wahlberg.

Pt 1 | Breaking Bigfoot: Jesus Payan Jr.

He has also been a longtime Sasquatch Researcher. The Sasquatch first entered the bigger-than-life actor, Jesus Payan Jrs.’s life via a book by Author C. Clark’s “Mysterious World” at age 5. In the year 2000, while living in New Mexico’s Lincoln County National Forest, he heard his first Sasquatch making 2 long haunting calls that silenced the forest.

Thus, beginning his lifelong quest to find and understand the reality of this mysterious creature. He was chosen as one of the field researchers for the “Falcon Project.” He was featured on FINDING BIGFOOT on their “Four corners episode on the Upper Fruitland Navajo Reservation where Jesus Jr. threw the first Bigfoot Conference ever on that reservation.

He’s worked with numerous PHD’s in Anthropology and was part of the Cryptid Hominid Genome Project. Now he has teamed up with MonsterQuest Producer – Creator Doug Hajicek on some new endeavors. He’s been face to face with a Sasquatch within 10 feet of him as well as other sightings. He’s been researching Sasquatch in and out of the field for 33 years.

Thank you to Jessica Jones for linking us up and D.A. Roberts, Robby and Anthony for putting Jesus' research on our radar!

BIO: Not since the Headless Horseman went charging through Sleepy Hollow has something come out of the Hudson Highlands of upstate New York as thrilling and chilling as author and paranormal researcher James A. Willis. Fueled by a steady childhood diet of Boo Berry cereal, Creepy magazine, and late-night Vincent Price movies, Willis soon developed a taste for the unexplained and quickly began seeking out all things strange and spooky. When he wasn’t trying to coax the boogeyman out from under his bed for a photo shoot, Willis pondered such eternal questions as what happens to us when we die, is there life on other planets, and what possesses someone to decorate their house with 1,001 milk jugs?

Pt 2 | Ghost Stories, UFOs, Indrid Cold and Sacred Sites: James A. Willis

In 1999, after spending more than 15 years chasing after ghosts and visiting crybaby bridges, Willis moved to Ohio and founded The Ghosts of Ohio (ghostsofohio.org), a nationally recognized paranormal research organization. Willis has grown the organization to well over 35 members in three divisions throughout the state: Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.

Bright Night Alaska

Mikey and Bub sit down with their dear friend Ron Holgado from The Parachute People. We met Ron after 2016 Bonnaroo when we took a photo at Band of Horses and the then "Roo Chute" was in the background. Ron saw my post on Insta and DMd me. I told him how incredible the parachute experience was at Roo. I found out Ron was from Columbus, then ended up meeting up for a parachute bloom in Columbus and became fast friends. The Parachute People are holding an event Thursday, 4/5 to celebrate their roots in the community. The link is below if you want to join the event!

Music Festival Life: Ron Holgado

Ron Holgado, a 30-something native of Columbus, Ohio on a path of self-discovery and ultimate fulfillment. Working in healthcare for the last 10 years, Ron has devoted a life of service both in the hospital and in his communities, radiating positivity wherever he goes. Ron is the co-creator and founding member of The Parachute People, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to create community through play to empower personal well-being. Him and his friends have been traveling to major music festivals across the United States since 2014 bringing their gym class parachute (yes, just like the ones from elementary school) to invite audiences to be a kid again and just PLAY! This concept of bringing a parachute to create happiness blossomed from a 10-day silent meditation called Vipassana, where he learned the importance of being in the moment. Ron is passionate about lifting others up when they're feeling down and utilizes the "Roochute" as a tool to remind people to be kind to others, and more importantly, to be kind to yourself.

Since then The Parachute People has been traveling to events across the country with the hope of sharing moments of fun with as many people as possible while emphasizing the importance of addressing mental health in daily life.

Join us as we travel with Mikey, Bub, Stoner, Disbrow and Ron down The Strange Road…
