The Strictly Sonic Show

The journey continues in this second part of our Sonic Adventure extravaganza as cdrom plays you the entirety of this iconic soundtrack's second disc featuring music from the second half of Sonic and friends iconic first fully 3D... what's the word we're looking for? Oh yes - adventure!

After 2 special episodes, we find ourselves in the 128-Bit era talking about Sonic's first TRUE forray into the third dimension on what would become SEGA's final home console. On this episode, we take you through the first disc of the game's soundtrack release, but join us for our own mini adventure over the coming weeks as we make our way through the acclaimed soundtrack to Sonic Adventure!

cdrom covers Sonic R on this episode of The Strictly Sonic Show, the fondly remembered racing game with the cult classic soundtrack. But he's not alone, for he's joined by TJ Davis! The two chat about her music career, her time working on SEGA projects and answer a variety of questions posed by the RadioSEGA community. Come for the music, stay for the special surprises. RadioSEGA is proud to present The Strictly Sonic Show's TJ Davis interview!

TheGreenViper8 takes on TSSS as part of our Summer Shakeup event! On the cards for today: Sonic Jam. The game's a celebrated collection of Sonic's (admittedly short at that point in time) history featuring lots of interesting bonus material and even an entire hub world based on a Sonic Adventure prototype! But as much as we try, we also can't avoid talking about the dreadful Game.com """port""" and it's even more abysmal soundtrack. So join Viper for a rather strange and longer than expected episode of The Strictly Sonic Show as he takes you through the highs and lows of Sonic Jam!

It's almost time to jump into Sonic's shortlived time on the Saturn on The Strictly Sonic Show, but before we can get to that we need to cover Sonic 3D Blast... wait, it was on Saturn too? With a completely different OST? Well then... Join cdrom for a chat about Sonic's first forray into "3D" while playing music from both acclaimed but vastly different soundtracks!

We've FINALLY reached the end of an era here on TSSS, the final Game Gear title! Sonic Blast AKA G Sonic launched for the platform in 1996 and would mark the final 8-Bit title in the Sonic series. Although cdrom's ""love"" of the Game Gear soundchip is known on the show by now, what does the rest of the chat have to say about the OST? And what does everyone think of the game itself? ...probably nothing good.

In a completely unplanned twist of fate, cdrom takes you through the OST of Sonic the Fighters on the same day as its Lost Judgment cameo reveal! Although not exactly a renowned fighting game, Sonic the Fighters is beloved by many fans for its zany gameplay and its catchy soundtrack. What do chat and cdrom have to say for the game though? All that and more on this week's TSSS!

It's ATTACK OF THE OBSCURE TITLES today on TSSS as cdrom looks at 6 obscure Sonic titles with questionable soundtracks and even more dubious gameplay. With his own and chat's low opinions of these titles, how long will it take for all of our IQ points to slip? Find out and become enlightened on this week's episode of The Strictly Sonic Show!

Sorry all, cdrom's caught in a maze today. Unrelated, let's talk Sonic Labyrinth! It's not exactly a beloved game or OST, so what will our Discord server have to say about it? And will cdrom survive yet another week of 8-Bit music? Find out only on The Strictly Sonic Show!

After a 32-Bit pallette cleanser last week, we're heading straight back into the 8-Bit titles with 2 Tails spin-offs: Tails' Skypatrol and Tails Adventure. The first and only Tails focused games in the series both have their fair share of quirks but what do you guys think of them? And what's our Discord's consensus on the OSTs? Join cdrom for all that and more on this week's episode of The Strictly Sonic Show!
