Dallas is back after a loooong couple of months. She explains the last few months of losing her identity, going through a breakup, moving out of her boyfriend's house, having to get a new number, facing social media prying into her personal life, and moving to a new place. Oh, and then surprise. She was being cheated on to put that cherry on top!
This episode is for the girls going through the same thing and wondering where they went wrong. Wondering what they could have done differently or if they could have fixed that person...well Dallas is here to say you cannot fix it. She explains the signs she saw the whole time and never paid attention to (but should have) and how you should interpret certain behaviors in your relationship from the beginning to avoid this ever happening. 10 red flags that stood out and waved right into her face, but she was too forgiving to pay attention. Hopefully this episode brings some clarity to you and helps you with dating in the future.
P.S. Chicks before dicks ladiessss remember that. Shoutout to all my lady friends for being here and helping me through this tough time. I don't know what I would do without you all.

Your host, Dallas Stephens, is on her own this time. She explains the whole reason Strive ever came into existence and her DARKEST secret she never thought she would speak out loud...let alone on a podcast. Bulimia is a binge & purge eating disorder focused on control and longing to stay thin. Dallas reflects into when and why it began for her, how if affected her daily life, the feelings associated with the disorder, and how she overcame it. This is a topic Dallas knows is a popular behavior, but not a popular topic of discussion. She's here to be REAL for anyone else battling with it. There are a reported over 200,000 cases/year but because shame is associated, the number is really much much higher. Dallas helps her in person clients with the disorder, and is here to help you as well.
Ever read that something is good for you, then the next thing you know...it's not? The world of foods and diets is extremely confusing with so much information out there. That's why I invite my guest Jess Driver to break it all down and help you discover the truth behind the foods you're putting in your body. We talk hydration, how to read nutrition labels, why you may be feeling ill when you workout, and the question of what "good for you" means when choosing foods such as the all famous acai bowl. Jess also dives deep into her past of her ex fiance and how she got through the toughest battle she's come to face in life. This is a must listen to episode!
Kayla is a fitness guru. She went from working in oil & gas to winning body competitions and becoming a bada** trainer/nutrition coach. Kayla is 31 and teaching us it is okay to not have everything figured out by 24. She even admits how unhappy she would be if she stuck with her different lives in the past. We sit down and discuss her struggles and how she's continuing on to better herself physically and mentally. We give two trainer insight's to some popular topics on diet/exercise as well as dating and life advice.
When you think of someone with a disability, what do you think of? Do you feel sorry for them? Do you picture them being limited and unable to live a full life? If so, Emma Gonsalves will change the way you think. She was born with muscle dystrophy, a (sometimes deadly) disorder which is a progressive weakening and waste of muscle tissue. We sit down to discuss how she is striving every day to better herself and never uses her disability as an excuse to sit at home. Emma talks about growing up different than others, countless surgeries, learning to overcome her own self to find self love, and how she wants to help the world and others like her in the future.
Calling all moms, teens, and everyone in between...this is an episode you will not want to miss. I sit down with Mel Haynes, a trainer, co-gym owner, wife, mother of 2, & eating disorder survivor.
