In this broken world, we often compartmentalize our grief instead of being open and bringing it to God. Practice discovering ways that you can identify your struggles and then approach God with honesty and hope.

When we walk in step with culture, we believe with the lies that what it has to offer will fulfill us. In truth, this leaves us empty and wanting. Joel reminds us to remember - come before the LORD in humility and learn to walk in the rhythm of the cross where we will be ultimately satisfied.

The heart of God is to go after his wayward people because He promises to be our God. We cannot provide change to ourselves in our own wisdom, strength, and knowledge- which is detrimental to those around us when we try to do it ourselves. We allow the Spirit to transform us from the inside out.

In a world full of constant change, insecurity and anxiety run deep. But God wants us to know the security that comes in the grace, guidance, calling, and consummation of His covenant. If you are in a season of change and looking for the security you need, look no further than to God himself who promises it to us all.

God desires that we become more fully human by being more fully alive. The goal of a human being fully alive is to grow into a spiritually mature person. How do we move from the “stage of simplicity” (a young believer) into the “stage of complexity” (a mature believer)?

Change can be difficult. We have coping mechanisms and avoidant tactics that do not often address the core issues, similar to the Israelites. God invites us into a better, new reality of change.
