The wisdom of God’s created world is big enough to give discernment for any and every season of life.

Our human brains have an incredible capacity for holding information and knowledge. But what good is all of that if we don’t know how to use it? God has given us wisdom and teaches us how to put it to use.

Jesus was the best teacher, using His time on earth to show people how to live. The wisdom that Jesus imparted was not complex, but rather He made it simple: love God above all and love others. What are the practical implications of loving God?

How do you think and feel about your work? Does it matter? Do you wish for more? The range of ways we see our work is based on a narrow perspective that misjudges what is significant. Seeing how our work fits into God's big story helps us see that while our work is meaningful, our true meaning is in who we are.

Pride is an underlying sin that shows up in our lives in a myriad of ways, so how can we tune into wisdom’s humility? What does it look like to humble ourselves and seek wisdom?

How do we look at the state of the world and our lives today without feeling like everything is meaningless? The author of Ecclesiastes asked this question as he yearned for more. God graciously meets us and answers our questions by revealing His plan for our lives.

The Bible tells us that all worldly treasures are worthless, but wisdom is worth more than all things. Even when we cannot understand our circumstances, Job reminds us that our value comes from the wisdom that flows from our fear of the LORD.

It is only when we humble ourselves and check everything that we think we know about Jesus at the door that we will truly be able to know Jesus for who he is and what he came to do.
