Just look at what has transpired since CEX 2020 at the end of February! It feels like this episode was so long ago!

My friends, this is one to listen to. This shows how much effort these students are rallying around their esports clubs with. Emerson's tradition in the highest quality journalism practices and facilities drew me in. I felt so inspired about what this program can bring to collegiate esports. Listen to this and use it to push yourselves and really come up with the identity behind your school. 

This is by far one of the best insights I've gotten of how other students on campus, gamers or not, esports fans or not, can get involved and how some truly great opportunities and education happened because of them.

Wow! It seems like forever since an episode has come out!

This is a great catch-up episode with Rick, my original introduction to NEU, as well as the newly appointed Esports Coordinator, Tyler. 

We go over everything that has happened with the school and Tyler's history within esports coming from Wichita State University and how Northeastern plays a pivotal role in the Boston area for collegiate esports.

There's a lot of context, information and cool stories to uncover in this episode. This is the first on-campus recording I've done and I have to say, I'm hungry for more!

I dive into the latest trash fire running around esports on Twitter and relate it back to how I would like to see sportsmanship, game teaching  and competitive modes developed and taught in game development and/or league development external to the game.

Much like game development, players will always find someway to try and get an advantage. In competitive games it is the mental game since voices and text are usually restricted or extremely limited. So we have to think beyond the context of a single game, a single platform and a single solution.
