The Sunday Sermon

Hello everybody.

I'm just back from San Diego where I'm sorry to announce I will not be playing Batman. No, Affleck reneged last minute and Warner Bros. decided to shirk on their promise. I discuss my long history with the character dating back to my friendship with Bob Kane and beyond.

I also discuss the side effects of using the morning after pill for half a century.

Hope you're having a nice week and enjoying the good weather. I'm up to my eyes in "church stuff" so haven't had much time to soak up the sun so I hope you'll remember me when you're off enjoying your outdoor pursuits. Within reason. I don't want to be popping in there at weird times (e.g. spotting roadkill) and then have your subconscious making weird associations (e.g. I eat roadkill).

On this week's sermon we discuss:

- Conor McGregor's conference "boob".

- Chasing PM's Trudeau and Varadkar

- The Donald J. Trump Jr. I know would never commit treason.

If you're around Dublin the day this ep drops, a comedian I don't know called Giles Brody will be doing some comedy at the Haypenny Inn, Temple Bar if you'd like to go and protest.

It's the Quiggster here with a special episode of Film Palz. Liam Nugent is on assignment at present, doing the Lord's work in a jungle dealing with some pesky hippies holding up the construction of a very important car park, so Msgr. Declan O'Donnelly from America dropped by. He wanted to talk about some far fetched sci-fi mockumentary series called "The Keepers" but I was all about "John Wick 2" and guess whose podcast it is? Its mine, so I won that little battle of wills.

I'm joined by surprise guest Jack Reynor to discuss his upcoming adaptation of "Resident Evil" which he'll be shooting in his Mam's house while she's away on holiday for a fortnight.
