I also share something I’m learning from my five-year-old daughter: she can imagine a whole world with zero effort. Meanwhile, my adult brain wants proof, a plan, and a guarantee that everything will work out. We talk about what changes when responsibility, motherhood, and running a business start to limit our ability to dream, and how we can start unlearning the “there’s only one right way” conditioning that keeps us small. 

From there, I get practical about nervous system regulation. When your body spikes into stress, your breath is the fastest way back to safety and presence. I walk through how I notice stress in my chest and belly, how a few cleansing breaths shift me out of fight or flight, and why integrity matters more than perfect timing, perfect audio, or perfect execution. What happens when you realize the things sitting on the throne of your heart aren’t actually what you chose?

In this conversation with Brijesh Patel, we explore the stories we create about ourselves—and how those stories shape the way we experience money, work, success, identity, and what we believe is possible.

Brijesh describes story as a technology: a way of making meaning from our experiences through memory, archetypes, and the narratives we repeat throughout our lives. He shares his own journey from growing up in a wealthy area without wealth, into finance, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and crypto—and eventually into a deeper season of reflection and integration.

We talk about one of the most powerful ideas in the conversation: suffering is pain without meaning. Pain can be information, growth, training, or transformation. But when fear takes over and we lose our sense of meaning, pain can become suffering.

From there, we explore the “throne” in our hearts—what we consciously choose to place there, and what gets placed there for us when we don't choose. We talk about money programming, education versus schooling, the pressure to become a “useful unit” for the economy, and what happens when we unconsciously let external systems define who we are.

And then we look ahead to AI and technology. If machines can increasingly take over routine intellectual work, what happens to our identity, our sense of worth, and our purpose? Could this disruption actually create more space for intuition, creativity, embodiment, and heart intelligence?

Ultimately, this is a conversation about getting honest about what we truly want—and making space for the life, values, and purpose that are actually ours.
