Points Per Game. Value Over Replacement. Two of the misconstrued statistical terms that lead people to minimalist and/or late round QB options. It’s time to refocus on the numbers that matter; refocus on the context.

Looking past a QB’s average weekly score (because an average isn’t what truly happened each week), Hogue breaks down the numbers on actual QB scoring in 2020. How often did they perform at or above average – not individually, but within the position? Which QBs were actually consistent in their scoring? And what happened when you started a QB with a high average in a bad matchup? Bottom line: it wasn’t ideal. The numbers don’t lie: the advantage is in QBXreme! Let’s crunch the numbers!
