Today I got to know William Thomas Pauley better and I'm glad I did. William is making some of the most interesting and delicious beverages I've ever experienced here in St. Louis at Confluence Kombucha. We talk about college, kombucha, dishwashing, and more as we get to understand William and his deep passion and desire to better understand his products and process. The Summer of #SPF1991 continues as I'm joined by Edo Rosenblith and Janie Stamm today on the podcast. Edo Rosenblith is an artist and easy to talk to. Edo will be helping out this summer with SPF1991 by producing a giant mural with a few of his friends. It's already pretty awesome to see. Mike and I have been friends ten years. We started out in Chicago working together at Commonground - one of the hottest experiential marketing agencies around - and developed a friendship and relationship that'll last a lifetime. A few years later we hijacked the Cap'n Crunch marketing plan and created "Where's the Cap'n?" which gained nationwide press in AdAge and even The Today Show. Mike stayed in advertising, I started selling donuts, and fast forward to today, Mike and his wife Danielle are running their own home design and contracting company, Clark and Aldine. It's been a hell of a ride and we're just getting started. I loved this conversation and diving deep into life before Strange, and specfically how I learned the ropes through wild adventures in advertising. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!
