2020 is looking to be the year of delayed games. People can't wait to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last Of Us Part 2, Marvel's Avengers & Dying Light but all these titles have been delayed. It's disappointing, sure, but this shouldn't worry you too much as it's probably a good thing that the developers see that these games need some polish and optimization to deliver the best enjoyable experience. We'd rather have a great game that was slightly delayed than a buggy mess that was rushed out the door to meet some arbitrary date or sales target - looking at you Anthem!

E3 is the major gaming event in everyone's calendar, but there is no doubt that over the years it's slowly been getting worse and worse. For the second year in a row, Sony PlayStation will skip E3! Sony have a HUGE year ahead of them with the reveal of the PlayStation 5 and will probably want to do things their own way. Microsoft, on the other hand, are more than happy to fill the gap left by the PS5 and are planning a massive E3 2020 press conference centred around their Xbox Series X! This all leaves us asking the question: Is E3 even necessary any more? While we try figure out if it is, PlayStation published their Games Of The Decade list with some surprising entries!

What better way to kick off 2020 with a look back to 2019? At the start of last year we went through some of our gaming predictions for 2019. Did we hit the mark or where we way off? Did we predict the release of Death Stranding? What about Cyberpunk 2077 or even Half Life: Alyx?

Aside from making a fool of ourselves with our predictions, we also took a look at some of the coolest gaming tech to come out of CES 2020! 

We close out a wild year with a look forward to what's shaping up to be an AMAZING year for gaming! 2019 is loaded with GOTY potential - we're talking about Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last Of Us Part 2, Ghost Of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, and Halo Reach. It's also the year we'll finally get out hands on some next-gen consoles with the PS5 and Xbox Series X. We can't wait!

In this, our very first episode, we take a look at what happened in the world of gaming in 2019. From simply excellent games like CONTROL & Sekiro to divisive games such as Death Stranding & Days Gone and everything in between, It's fair to say that it's been a bit of an awkward year with some absolutely amazing games mixed with a lot of mediocrity and more than it's fair share of controversies.
