If you don't know Brian Bowyer, you are truly missing out. This dude is one of the most down to earth, honest authors in the horror game. And he's mighty prolific, centering his life around producing wild horror for the edgier readers in the lot. We cover so much in this episode including how time in juvinile detention turned Brian into a horror fiction fan over night, how Brian approaches his writing routine, and the motivations behind his stories. And, of course, we nerd out about Pantera, Metallica, and all the thrash gods!
Brian's recent publications include Kill Factor, Scarlett, and Autumn Gothic. He also wrote about his path through addition to writing in Writing and Rising from Addiction.
This is the part where I tell you about how so many people told me to interview Brian before we ever met. Those people lit up a bit when they talked about Brian. So we made it happen. And I'm grateful it did. I believe you'll find Brian's interview refreshing, inspirational, heavy in places, light in others, and always frank. Enjoy, folks.
Now go out and snatch up Brian's stories, leave reviews, and follow the guy on X (Twitter).
