With Jesus as Shepherd and us as His Sheep, we are just the people he has prepared for this mission. A light, an encouragement, a stirring, a doer and a gatherer. Gathering together for something so much bigger than attendance.

Peace is something everyone wants but few ever find. Our best efforts to find peace in life, with ourselves or with God remain elusive in a fallen world. But on a Sunday 2000 years ago, peace was declared for all who place their faith and trust in the resurrected Jesus.

Good Friday Message

Compassion is the combination of both recognizing the spiritual needs of the world and actively seeking God's guidance and provision to address those needs. We need to see as Jesus saw, feel as Jesus felt, so we can do as Jesus did.

Forgiveness is a difficult thing for sinful humans. It is hard to truly believe in the forgiveness that God offers us and to forgive others. But forgiveness from God is directly connected to forgiving others, and is the only way to find freedom in Christ.

Doubt and faith aren’t necessarily opposites. And having doubts about your faith doesn’t mean you are a hypocrite or not a Christian. It means you’re a human. But what you do with doubt, and who you choose to trust, is of the utmost importance.

This is the end. The end of the book of Revelation. The end of the the written Word. The end of all history. However, there is an afterword that promises to be even greater than the Book just finished.

Life's "heaven-on-earth" moments always seem just out of reach. But they do point to a transcendent reality, that this world is not our home and they cannot compare with what God has in store for those who love Jesus.

The Bible gives us all we need and sometimes I think all we can handle. Our earthly picture of Heaven is incredibly limited and yet what is revealed to us is all we can possibly imagine and as much as we can understand.

The final judgment of all unbelievers is before God’s great white throne. God will bring justice to the wicked, those who die without faith in Christ. Although a solemn passage, it is also filled with hope for the believer!
