Monique. Monique. Monique Samuels. The Queen Of Potomac herself in the flesh joined The Take On. Former Real Housewives of Potomac star came to talk family, essential oils, her Not For Lazy Moms Podcast, and her departure from Bravo TV. Monique said she’s too busy focusing on her family and music and podcast and business to come back to Bravo TV. But she’s not opposed to coming back to reality TV in some capacity, but for now “she’s happy the cameras are no longer in her house.” Of course we talk about the pink elephant in the room miss Candiace, and she believes that things escalated between them and that the physical altercation came out of left field. Monique is a kind sweet soul and I’m so happy she joined me. Chris and Monique’s friendship has blossomed into a marriage of eight years and their beautiful seven-year-old son, Christopher, four-year-old daughter, Milani, and one-year-old son, Chase. Monique is a boss in every sense of the word, as she manages businesses, including, a real estate investment company, a business enterprise, and the Chris Samuels Foundation, which she and her husband share. As if that weren't enough to keep her busy, her entrepreneurial spirit has led her to create and launch her brand, Not for Lazy Moms, and the associated website notforlazymoms.com. In 2018, Monique launched her Not for Lazy Moms podcast, which further addresses topics that everyone can relate to but are rarely discussed. Monique’s desire to make a difference and help others is fueled by the love and support of her family.

The time has come for an OG! JILL ZARIN graces us with her presence on THE TAKE ON and this OG RHONY housewife gets down to business! Jill dives into whether or not she’ll come back to Bravo and where her and Bethenny Frankel stand in their tumultuous relationship. I asked Jill if she would ever join a reboot of the Real Housewives of Miami because I know we all miss Jill Zarin so much and we went deep into her opinion of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake!

In the apparel space, Zarin launched Skweez Couture Shapewear and Hosiery. And just this year, she co-launched Jill & Ally. The brand, a collaboration with her daughter Allyson Shapiro, sprang from a handful of tie-dyed face masks Ally created for herself that immediately went viral. After having already established Noshes for Nurses, a highly successful Go Fund Me to raise money to feed essential workers, Zarin and her daughter decided to go all in on the wildly comfy, hand-dyed masks and donate one for every one sold. To date, more than 25,000 masks by Jill & Ally have been donated to healthcare and essential workers. Noshes for Nurses is also still going strong, and has raised $70,000 and distributed 200,000+ meals to the staffs of hospitals, police stations and fire departments.

A graduate of Simmons College School of Retail Management, Zarin previously held a number of executive positions in the apparel industry and is an expert in textiles. Beginning her career as an Assistant Buyer for a department store, she steadily worked her way up through the management ranks, becoming National Sales Manager at Jockey Hosiery, an $150 million dollar men’s hosiery brand. Later, after marrying the late Bobby Zarin, she consulted for Zarin Fabrics, a Lower East Side Manhattan institution established in 1936.

Zarin currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida, where her home doubles as the global headquarters for Jill & Ally. When she’s not on the phone with factories & overseeing the production of the brand’s growing lineup of products (hint: tie-dye hoodies and sweats are in the works), or hiring employees for the rapidly growing, women-owned and operated company, Zarin can be found on the tennis court or hanging out with family, friends and Bossi, her beloved Pomeranian.

ARIANA MADIX is the heart and soul of Vanderpump Ruled and she joined THE TAKE ON for a supersized episode! I was thrilled to sit down with her and we are now definitely friends. From coming out as a proud bisexual woman to sharing her struggles with depression and anxiety to author of Fancy AF Cocktails we dive into all of it. Ariana has a way of being on Vanderpump Rules from the jump without getting in the muck with everyone else. Lots of Vanderpump Rules cast members have been fired but Ariana is still the fan favorite because of her loyalty and kindness.
