This episode contains chapters 2 and 3 of the Tale of Jaufre.  Jaufre has set out on his quest and on the way encounters Estout de Verfeuil, and finds a mysterious white lance.  A warning - there is some violence in this episode, and some decidedly 13th century morality.

This is the first episode of "The Tale of Jaufre", a 13th century story originally written in Occitan for a king of Aragon.  In this first episode, King Arthur has an unexpected adventure, and a young man arrives at court just in time to witness an insult to the king and queen.
