Have you ever been on a phone call (or doing a stream) and been told to shut up. I was, and it sucked! A rant was unleashed that explored exactly why people hate people who talk on their phones in public places. I noticed that I didn’t use my computer or any of the other gadgets packed in my man purse while in Kentucky, I got by with a little help from my iPhone. Mason, Wes and SirMars call in, and Clay looses it in the IRC and says “F Everything!”

This week we talk about a museum for poop, unicorn poop, and poopourri… in fact the first 15 minutes is mostly poop. We also get a call from Derek about someone who was using 1500 grit sandpaper in record restoration “THE HORROR!” We tackle a ton of tech news this week, including a lengthy article about how Firefox extension vulnerability. We end the show with a video from Adam Savage and Will Smith of Tested fame about Bits and Bytes!

This week we talked about self-esteem and my lack thereof. When it comes to doing projects for people I tend not to charge enough. This is advertisement for people trolling for a cheap webmaster, I feel guilt for taking your money…. so e-mail me with your projects!

SirMars and Steven call in to talk about serious matters and the show devolves into a reading of the Epic Deli Menu and instructing Steven on eliminating his breathing noises on his microphone.

We also talk about Netflix degrading your video quality on purpose… but it’s not all their fault, AT&T and Verizon impose strict data caps that make it hard to enjoy video on cellular connections.

We play a video about self-driving cars from Mashable, and Clay promises to buy one for me if he wins the lottery!

Blair calls in to talk about his new IRC Notification Bot and his experience using Easynews.

We hear from SirMars and his friend Rich Cavallaro who is a first timer. Jayson Smith drops in randomly throughout the show from his very own pay phone! He wants to go to Nashville to play with the last #1AESS, which is a piece of old telephone switching equipment. Keao has questions about APRS, George calls in to talk about Plex Media Center and the 11.22.63 Miniseries on Hulu. Our friend Derek Lane calls in to answer Steven’s questions about audio restoration and Brad the Impaler calls in to give his 2 cents worth. Bianca from Germany joins the fray and we talk crockpot recipes and phreaking. We also get to hear her myriad of fun voices! This one was definitely disorganized but it was tons of fun! You don’t want to miss it!

This episode is a classic example of how NOT to do a podcast! We try simulcasting the show on YouTube and it ends in disaster. We get pranked by a bunch of spankmonkeys who are probably still in high school. This is what happens when you put your skype and phone number out in the clear for any pimple-faced teenager to see.
