Latest stats around road fatalities since the start of the festive season has revealed that out of the 94 accidents that occurred, 53 were pedestrians. Even though we may not understand how the fatalities happened, is enough being done to look at the behaviour of pedestrians? Often so many of them cross on the freeway under a abridge, while others cross while the traffic lights are read. What then should be done to deal with pedestrians as motorists are given fines or jail time for traffic violations?
