21st May 1999 was one of the darkest days in the history of my hometown, Adelaide, South Australia.
On that day, 4 men were apprehended for the murders of 12 people that took place over a 7 year period. The murders would come to known as the Snowtown Murders, or the bodies-in-the-barrels case, because towards the end of the 7-year period, the perpetrators rented a disused bank building in the regional city of Snowtown to store the bodies of the victims in barrels of acid to hasten decomposure...
In this episode, I share my thoughts and opinions on one of the most notorious crimes to have ever taken place in Adelaide, and I also share some factors I have in common with the perpetrators.
