The streak is finally over. Stephen opens this week with a return to Super Mario 3D Land. Maybe he's finally overcome his issues with the circle pad? Then again, maybe not. He also talks about a smartphone game called Floors and follows with his feelings about the new Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. Brian steps back in time to 1997 with Mega Man 8 on PSN while touching on, the now regulars, Super Mario Maker and Splatoon. Tomb Raider, Saints Row: Re-Elected, Castle Crashers, and Valiant Hearts were all on Justin's agenda. However, he surprises us with his first-ever play through of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS. He gives us a very interesting perspective. Anthony's last this week with some quick comments about Super Mario Maker, as he played Brian's levels, and Monster Hunter 4 for the 3DS. The news never gets dull as we discuss Vita's successor (or lack of one), canceled Rare games, and a plethora of Xbox One bundles.

Another wonderful episode of the Tangent podcast. Anthony leads off (again) to tell us briefly about Monster Hunter 4 and then hops straight into Super Mario Maker where Brian joins him. Brian's up next surprising us all with his purchase of Splatoon and his thoughts on it. Justin plays more of Road Warrior, the game formally known as Mad Max. Destiny: The Taken King makes a brief appearance, and so does Tomb Raider and Castle Crashers. Stephen wraps up this week with the Genesis game Battle Squadron, while heading back to the 3DS to check out Mario Golf: World Tour. As for the news, we were down a man, but no worries as we manage to make through discussing Hitman delays, New Xbox One bundles, and the lack of game features on new-old titles.

Three for three. Anthony opens the podcast again to talk about more Super Mario Maker with Brian joining in to share his thoughts. It turns out, it's also abuzz on the internet. Who knew? Justin tells us more about Mad Max and slips in two other games, Castle Crashers and Costume Quest 2. Stephen then shares his thoughts on more Sega CD games. This week we got the luxury of Lethal Enforcers and Lethal Enforcers II. We then stepped into a whole bunch of strange with the game Sewer Shark. Not to be outdone however, Brian also dabbles with a few other games such as, Tomba! and Super Time Force Ultra. The news this week brings us word of the new Nintendo president, StarFox delays, and Sony's TGS Keynote.

Big week. Anthony leads us off with Bloodborne again, but we quickly divert into Super Mario Marker, where Brian also jumps in and they share their time with the game so far. Spoiler: Get it. Stephen then takes us on another trip to Sega CD land where he played Corpse Killer, a light-gun shooter. He also manages to slip in some Castle Crashers. Justin ends off Under Your Thumb with Fantasy Life and his compliments to the game Mad Max for giving him something to talk about before Fallout 4. The news this week stays on the rails for as long as you could expect, as we discuss Pokemon Go, Metal Gear Solid 5 save bugs, and TAS videos.

Anthony leads off Under Your Thumb with more Bloodborne and a PS4 game called Grow Home. Justin finds more time to play Borderlands II and eludes us all with his thoughts on the Mad Max game. Brian this week has his fair share, talking also about Grow Home, but then returns to Rare Reply to let it rip on Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day. He ties it up with Crossy Road and the Gears of War remaster. Stephen returns to Night Trap with a much better understanding, while dipping his toes into the mobile phone version of Pokemon Shuffle. The news this week is nothing to sneeze at. We go over Sony's Tokyo Game Show lineup, Nintendo's non-XL New 3DS coming to North America, and a new Xbox bundle.

It's back to our regular length episodes this week. Stephen starts us off with Night Trap for the Sega CD, and finds that maybe the manual can be helpful, just as long as it doesn't bore you. Brian's up next with more Rare Replay where we learn that some of the included games are not streamable. He also touches on Grim Fandango and a smartphone game, Pac-Man 256. Anthony then talks about more Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and shares his experience of Bloodborne on his newly acquired PS4. As a surprise, he ends up playing Justin's Nicktoons Racing game. The consensus? Listen to find out. Justin ends it this week with Borderlands 2 and his first play of Rocket League. We round out the last week of August with lots of news, and talk about disc-less game systems, smaller X-Boxes, and dinosaur games from the 90s.

Well, after many weeks of guests, we're all finally back. In Under Your Thumb, Anthony has more to say about Fallout 3, along with Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and Earthbound Beginnings. Brian finds himself enjoying Nidhogg, Everybody's Gone To Rapture, and Halo 3 MMC. Justin's week consists of portable titles, starting with Fantasy Life and two smartphone games: Fallout Shelter and Does Not Commute. Lastly, Stephen wraps up this week's Under You Thumb with some Sega CD titles and a group discussion of witnessing some CD-i games live in action. And in this week's news, well, we finally nail down that Halo Bet, among other idle chit-chat and questionable snack choices.

This episode was full of surprises, one of them being that yet another one of us was out for the week. Can you guess who it was? Gary returns to fill the the vacant seat. Under Your Thumb takes some surprising turns (and some not so surprising ones), as Anthony returns to talk Fallout 3 and Smash Wii U DLC. Justin goes on about Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Fantasy Life, and Dark Souls II, which merges with what's under Gary's thumb, who manages an attempt at Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain. Then, Stephen discusses his time with Halo 4. In the news this week there's game engines, Amiibo re-releases, and we discuss Gamescom.

Oh boy, where to begin? It looks like we're rotating guests again, as Anthony takes his turn to step out. But hey, don't worry, we brought in someone new for the episode. Gary Hines steps in this week to discuss Dark Souls and Halo. Brian continues on his Rocket League praise and joins Justin in talking about Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. We also talk Fallout, but not in the way you'd think. News takes some sharp turns (and is lengthy) as the tangents run wild. Among that, Halo 5's bet is brought up again, and we're still no closer to understanding what the conditions are. Still plenty of time to hammer those down, I suppose.
