The Tarot Card Catalogue

What happens when a tarot card meets a story?

The Tarot Card Catalogue is a short-form weekly podcast exploring tarot through mythology, folklore, fairy tales, legends, and literature.

Each episode begins with the traditional meaning of a single tarot card before pairing it with a story from somewhere in human history. What happens to the Five of Cups when we read it through La Llorona? What can Baba Yaga teach us about Death? How does Little Red Riding Hood change the way we understand the Moon?

Rather than treating tarot as a fixed collection of keywords, The Tarot Card Catalogue approaches the cards as living texts, placing tarot, myth, folklore, and story into conversation to discover what each can reveal about the other.
