Weary, discouraged people often panic and flee, when God would have them stay.

Cornelius invited.  Peter preached.  God saved. We each have a part to play.

Who doesn’t want to be effective and productive for God?  But how do we know if we are? This answer from God's Word may surprise you.

Christ’s forgiveness trumps an overactive conscience.

We are God’s chosen instruments.  Have you figured  out how He wants to use you?

Want to influence others with what you say or write? Remember, we’re never persuasive when we’re abrasive.

If Jesus were visiting you, would He find you hot, cold, or lukewarm? Believe it or not, the metaphor has nothing to do with spiritual fervor!

God already knows the answer to your trying situation.  He’s resting in His knowledge, and we can rest in it too. (BTW, I inadvertently called Philip, "Peter" in one instance).

We’re to respect everyone; but we’re to honor God above all. 

One threat to spiritual joy, is spiritual complacency. God wants us to soar for Him. Is it possible you’ve grown too comfortable in the nest?
