I really like the Huawei watches – I had the original GT.
Amazing battery performance.
However, they have a big drawback – they only connect to Huawei Health, and not to any third-party apps.
If you want to use something like Strava, you’re out of luck.
There is an app on the Google store that will synchronise the data to a variety of other sites, including Strava – however, it isn’t ideal, and doesn’t transfer all the data (particularly heart rate data).

In the end, my GT ended up in the drawer, and I got a Garmin.

Instant Cameras are still a thing with teenagers.
My two daughters both used to use them regularly but not so much now because I refused to buy the very expensive film for them!

I have purchased a Lenovo Duet 128gb and am very happy with it.
I am not a power user but have downloaded a number of apps such as Snapseed and they work well for me.
With regards to a pen I have purchased a Broonel Grey Rechargeable USI Stylus and If you only want it for taking notes it works well.
The downside is if you want to draw there is noticeable lag.
If you do your research on Youtube etc the Broonel pen generally comes out on top.
Really enjoy the show - keep up the good work!

I gave up on Android tablets years ago for the same reason as you, Ted.

Poor Android updates.

I would recommend looking at a ChromeOS tablet - like the Lenovo Chromebook Duet, there's a new Acer ChromeBook Tab 10 too.

And there’s an Asus about to drop.

The Duet benefits from 7 years of updates, so similar to Apple.

Has Android app support, keyboard and supports USI stylus pens.

I have one and it is great, easily my most versatile device.

Ian Barton suggests and recommends the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 slightly different but can be swung right round into tablet mode.

The Sony Reality Audio operates on the same concept as Dolby Atmos.
Individual sounds/instruments are recorded and then when mixed not only is their volume and tone encoded but also their position in 3D space.
Compatible equipment is required.
Usually the set up of these devices involves the sending of test tones in different directions which the device uses to "listen" to the reflections and effectively measures the size and shape of the room [like a bat?].
This allows it to introduce tiny delays to give the impression that the sound is coming from above and behind as well as left and right.
The results are, fairly obviously, not on par with having multiple speakers but it does help if you are watching video while listening which helps to convince the brain of the directions from which sounds are arriving.
