This last episode of 2020 was inspired by a sermon through Luke 1 which I sat through at church on December 20, 2020. This is a year that many want over, perhaps even 'deleted' from our history. I however see it as a year that we ought to be thankful. Lives, livelihoods were lost, plans 'derailed' yet the will of God prevailed, His decrees were fulfilled. This year wasn't anything new under God's watchful eye. I can thank God for my sight, because it was in 2020 I could see my sin for what it is, my need for a saviour and a LORD. I am saved, I have peace with God, is that the same for you? for your family?
I hope you take these last few hours of 2020 to give God praise! To believe in Jesus Christ and be reconciled to God. To seek repentance as David did in Psalm 51. I hope these passages of scripture encourage you as you seek the LORD, as you search for a local body of Christ, as you surrender all to Him for 2021 and forever.
