Hey friends. Yesterday was an upsetting, infuriating, and depressing day. Truly.
Guest Matthew Macaulay and I were scheduled to record an episode of the podcast right as the Capitol was being broken into by domestic terrorists. We both decided that we wouldn't be able to talk about our normal sports/theatre topics on the pod without first working out our feelings together for as long as we needed.
We decided to record that discussion. I don't know about you, but sometimes the best way for me to process my feelings/thoughts is to listen to others work their's out and act as a sort of fly-on-the-wall to their conversation. Matt and I are no experts, but we figured we should record and share our discussion with you if helps anyone process their feelings as well.
Listen to this episode or don't; I completely understand. I'm not looking to be opportunistic. Just hoping this can help at least a few of you.
I love you all and I hope you're safe and you're taking care of those hearts of yours.
WE MADE IT TO 2021!
In this episode, I sit down with the always interesting and co-host of the Cozy Nook Explorers podcast, Jon Schaller to ask him about his father and their love of the Los Angeles Lakers adn basketball in general! Tune in to hear Jon and I talk about dinosaurs, why football is so difficult to watch nowadays, and even discuss how Jon won a bar bet due to his own personal theme song.
