In this episode of TTE podcast, I welcome a fellow Winnipegger Junel Malapad who is preparing for a run across the province of Manitoba in support of seven mental health organizations!
You might be wondering, how is he going to run across Manitoba?!
Junel plans to run across Manitoba from May 1-7, 2022 in support of and to highlight work done by seven local mental health organizations. The journey will start at 7 am on May 1st from the Ontario border and will finish on the Saskatchewan border. The run will cover a total of 490 km, which is roughly 1.5 marathons or 70 km each day!
This episode explains the inspiring story of how Junel began running to improve his health and how this form of exercise has become such an important part of his life and many others!
