We begin by exploring the surprising connection between Purim and Pesach. On the surface they seem worlds apart — Purim unfolds through hidden miracles in the political drama of Persia, while Pesach is defined by open, world-shaking miracles in Egypt. Yet Purim actually prepares us for Pesach. Through the Megillah, where Hashem’s name never appears, we learn to recognize the hidden hand guiding events behind the scenes — training our eyes to see the Divine even when it isn’t obvious.
We then turn to the gift of Shabbos. What is the essence of Shabbos? Rather than simply being a day of restrictions, Shabbos is a weekly reset. For six days we build, create and push forward; Shabbos invites us to pause and reconnect with the One who created it all. It’s a chance to step out of the noise of the week and rediscover presence, purpose, and connection.
