As most of you know, Virginia is a life-long human rights activist and feminist who grew up in a war in Nicaragua and is now a US resident, entrepreneur, mindset coach, and complexity science expert. All of this adds up to a perspective on social justice that is quite different than how that term is perceived in the US - especially by the left and the right.

In this Manologue, I reflect on being grateful for what’s possible not just for who and what we have.

This is an extra special episode for me. Alan and I have been close friends for over a decade. He’s been a witness to my transformation and a steady source of comfort and friendship in the darkest of times. Shakti is newer but also instant friend - someone I consider part of my “Mother Circle” of older wise woman (which includes my mother-in-law, Ana, and my dear friend Ann Fry). And they both came to our wedding this past weekend!
