Thalāthat al-Uṣūl (The Three Fundamental Principles) by Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh), with the explanation of Shaykh Zayd ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī (raḥimahullāh), taught by Ustādh Abdul Hakeem Mitchell (hafidhahullāh)
• The third level, Iḥsān, has one pillar: to worship Allāh as if you see Him, and though you do not see Him, He sees you
• Its meaning: what is good in the Sharīʿah and to the intellect; there is no real contradiction between sound intellect and the text
• Iḥsān of the servant with his Lord, and with his own soul by striving against it
• Its two levels: worshipping as though seeing Him, and worshipping knowing He is watching
• Love alongside Allāh is the basis of shirk (as-Saʿdī), unlike the love the Sharīʿah commands
• Affirming the names and attributes: "There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing" (ash-Shūrā 42:11)
