As women we tend to think that we have to do it all – work full time, go to school, take care of kids (even if they aren’t ours), and don’t forget making dinner, cause ya girl’s gotta eat. In light of all that, today we are going to talk about what it means to Sabbath and talk about self-care. What is self care? How do we rest in fullness? Why is the Sabbath important? How are we able to live our lives from a place of abundance even if we feel empty? Where does God fit into rest? SOOOO let’s get into it!
Macy and I talk about our favorite self-care routines, where we need to schedule in rest times for ourselves, and talk about how we need to hear this episode just as much as we think others need to hear it as well! We hope you guys listen to this with your blankets, face masks, favorite drink in hand, and take a moment to rest with God. He wants us to abide in HIM! Only he can give us the true rest that our souls crave.
