I had a conversation with a friend not a few months ago
We were talking about my speaking services
She asked me who my dream client was and when I told her, she asked me when I was planning on reaching out to them
I told her I wasn't because I didn't feel like I was good enough to speak to them
She just stared at me, completely shocked and couldn't believe that I clearly didn't understand the value that I have to offer
Which was the moment that I realized:
I've been playing way too small
A lot of us have so much to offer but simply don't offer it because we don't feel like we are good enough
Because we're just *us*, right? We don't feel like we have the right to approach that big company. Or reach out to our dream client
But we are enough. We are more than enough.
I don't want to play small anymore. I want to take up the space I deserve and have earned.
So today, the training wheels come off.
LFG my friends. It's time to play big.
Here's what we talk about on this week's episode:
- The things that led me to the changes I'm going to make
- Why working for yourself is actually the most stable and secure income
- Whether or not I think it's a good idea to quit your job to start a business
- It's time to play BIG in my business
- Why I took a long hard look at each of my revenue streams and how much time I'm devoting to them
- Why I'm not running the conference again
- Why I think you should ask yourself what *you* want and not just what your customer wants
- The big changes I'm making in my business
