The once beautiful Paragon Cafe in the Blue Mountains is in ruins. Since it's closure in 2018 there are fears the heritage-listed building will never be restored to it's glory days. In response to surging petrol and diesel prices caused by the war in Iran, a fuel excise was initially suspended and then reinstated. The cut is from 32 to 16 cents whilst the ACCC has warned it will monitor the prices.
