        • TN293: What do women need today to live up to their full potential?
Women’s empowerment has been at the core of Tandem Nomads’ mission since it started.
Entrepreneurship is indeed one of the most effective tools for women to live up to their full potential and create their own source of financial independence while aligning their business with their priorities in life.
The countless women who came before us fought for the privileges we enjoy today, which is why it is our responsibility to live up to our full potential and continue to pave the way for the ones coming after us.
In this episode, we look at where we are today regarding women’s rights and opportunities in our society and in our world.
What can we celebrate and where do we need to see more progress?
We also reflect on what women need today to live up to their full potential.
In order to answer these questions, I invited some of the most active members of the Tandem Nomads’ community to share their take and insights on this topic:

Get ready, because these messages are not for the faint of heart. You might not even agree with some of these statements, but I am grateful to these courageous women who are willing to say things that are not always easy to admit. In fact, the moment we finally challenge some of our common believes is the moment we start having real conversations that will allow more opportunities for women in our society to grow.

            • TN292: How to overcome burnout by tapping into the safety of your body – with Johdi Woodford
When you work at what you love, it’s easy for burnout to creep up on you. It’s a bit like the ghost at Halloween. You know it’s there, but it’s not until you stare it in the face that it scares you.
Entrepreneurs know how to look after themselves, but all too often they ignore the signs that tell them to rest, pull back, or delegate. Burnout then becomes very real and forces them to stop.
So how do you prevent burnout from happening?
This week, Restorative Movement Specialist, Johdi Woodford shares her unique multidisciplinary approach for preventing burnout. She challenges traditional methods of ‘help’, talks about why our bodies start to become compromised and offers great tips for how to spot your own ‘red flags’ of not coping.
Preventing burnout is an intrinsic state of knowing what’s the right thing to do. But most entrepreneurs bypass that because they are too busy and don’t take the time to listen to their body and their intuition.
Johdi Woodford is a Restorative Movement Specialist who helps people over 40 to finally uncover the root cause of their pain and treat it so that it doesn’t come back again. Johdi’s clients enjoy lasting, unparalleled results because she takes a revolutionary and rebellious route to the otherwise very boring, very ineffective methods that you'll find elsewhere in the Health & Fitness World. Her multidisciplinary approach is unlike anything you’ve ever tried before, because no-one combines precise anatomical and physiological corrective exercise know-how, with a witch-like ability to heal that her clients describe as ‘magic’.
              What you will learn:
              • How to identify your ‘red flags’ and prevent stress levels from increasing
              • Why traditional talking therapies don’t work for everyone
              • How to create a neutral state from which you can heal

People joke about the ‘7-year itch’ in romantic relationships and the alleged phase of restless angst, but what about a business relationship?
As an entrepreneur we have a business relationship foremost with ourselves. We are the center of our business and therefore at the center of its highlights, challenges and transformations. We can’t separate the two and so when we reach a milestone, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our journey.
I am a completely different person than 7 years ago, when I launched Tandem Nomads. My business forced me to grow on a business level but even more on a personal level.

This week’s episode is a retrospective on these past 7 years as I share with you the highlights, challenges, learnings and transformations. You’ll come to understand the power of evolution and pivoting for both you and your clients and how you can make it happen as you grow personally. I also share why my challenges were opportunities and invite you to join me on the next steps of this journey.
                                        What you will learn:
                                        • How Tandem Nomads has evolved in 7 years

Tandem Nomads turned 7 on November 2022 and whilst I am the face of Tandem Nomads, no journey happens without people along the way.
In challenging times, we notice the support that’s given to us because we need it more than we might sometimes acknowledge. Yet the wins and the celebrations are just as important, as is the everyday consistency of showing up and enabling me to do what I love. It just wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
Tandem Nomads would not be where it is without all the people who have been involved in this incredible journey.
In this episode I share my gratitude to all the individuals who have been involved in this journey. It’s been quite a ride from inception till now! It’s a real pleasure to share with you all the people who have helped make these 7 years the transformation and success it has been. Be sure to listen in. You might also learn some more about Tandem Nomads through their contribution!

In our most stressful moments, it’s easy to assume that we have no choices and maybe we just have to plough on until life gets easier. What if you shifted your perspective? What if you considered that in any circumstance you always have a choice, the power to choose your thoughts and feelings?
In this episode, Cristina invites you to reflect on your thoughts and emotions and how they influence your business results. She explains why your capacity to take action is directly connected to the thoughts you choose to entertain.
She also shares her experience parenting, and how as new parents she believes you can create a mutually beneficial mindset with your partner(s).
At any point and in any circumstance, we always have the choice of our thoughts and emotions

Her holistic approach will help you to find the balance of mind, body and soul.
