The Today-ISH Show

Taylor Swift’s Ring, Cracker Barrel Unity, and Real Housewives of Prison In this week’s Todayish, James Li and Dani Love dive into Taylor & Travis’ possibly-scripted engagement, the Cracker Barrel logo fiasco that brought America together, and why Gavin Newsom might actually be President Snow.

They also pitch Real Housewives of the Clink (starring Ghislaine, Jen Shah, and Elizabeth Holmes), unpack flag-burning laws, and ask the eternal question: is anyone in D.C. not a plant? Smart takes, spicy jokes, and zero chill.

In this episode of Today-ish, we sit down with Dr. Butch Ware — professor, author, musician, and Green Party candidate for governor of California.

Butch shares his journey of discovering Malcolm X at 15 and dedicating his life to Islam — a turning point that shaped his faith, scholarship, and activism. We dive into how that path led him into politics and why he’s challenging both Democrats and Republicans in California.

The conversation doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff: Palestine, Zionism, and U.S. foreign policy; the failures of liberals and conservatives; California’s housing crisis and the poverty-industrial complex; climate change, weather modification, and corporate greed; ICE raids and immigration reform; and the rise of censorship and the police state.

Butch Ware speaks with clarity and conviction, weaving together history, personal story, and political vision. Whether you agree with him or not, this episode pushes you to rethink what’s possible for California — and for America.

In this episode, we dive into the chaos surrounding the FireAid scandal and the $100 million concert that seemingly helped no one. We break down the shady nonprofit web behind it all, Gavin Newsom’s low-income housing loophole in wildfire zones, and why victims are being left in the dust. We also unpack the Sydney Sweeney “good jeans” ad backlash, the climate change elite hypocrisy, and Bayer's glyphosate cover-up — linking it all the way back to the DDT dumping scandal off the coast of LA. Plus, we look at the rise of an app where women rate men like restaurants. From conspiracy to corruption to carcinogens, we’re going there.

In this episode, we break down the fallout from the Nelk Boys’ interview with Netanyahu — from softballs about Burger King to a missed opportunity to address Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. We dive into the growing censorship around TikTok, the redefinition of anti-Zionism, and the growing power of platforms to shape (or silence) global narratives. We also digs into the latest Epstein file distractions, a suspicious Trump birthday card, LA’s billion-dollar homelessness industrial complex, and Caitlyn Jenner’s rumored run for governor. Plus: reptilian theories, AI censorship, and whether the government is teeing up Fauci or Obama to take the fall as pressure mounts to release the truth.
