To this day the fight is the biggest fight in magnitude to ever take place on Oahu and the most historically remembered. The date was June 1st, 1999. Superbrawl Promoter T Jay Thompson had done a great job in capitalizing on the growing feud between Grappling Unlimited and Relson Gracie. This would all come to a head at Superbrawl 12.
