Republicans will be taking over the House of Representatives in the New Year. They are beginning to talk about the possible investigations on the horizon. It is critically important that these new investigations be legitimate with no ulterior motives. The worst possible scenario is for Republicans to spend the next 2 years doing "investigations" that they plan to do nothing about, but instead use it as a campaign tool.

Viktor Bout, "The Merchant of Death," is the Russian arms dealer that we traded to get Brittney Griner back after her arrest in Russia. Bout is described to be the worst of the worst, a terrorist, who conspired to kill Americans, and one of the most dangerous people on the planet. Griner was serving a 9-year sentence for drug smuggling and possession charges. While we're always glad to welcome Americans home if charges were illegitimate, ultimately we don't know, there are still reasons to be concerned with this prisoner swap.

WNBA player Brittney Griner has been released from a Russian penal colony in a prisoner swap. She has been held on drug charges since February. Brittney was traded for Viktor Bout a Russian arms dealer described as the "Merchant of Death." Meanwhile, Marine Veteran Paul Whelan remains in Russian custody. Whelan was accused of and charged with espionage.

Our government should be focused on protecting the liberties of all Americans and not just those of a particular group. The media & government tend to pit one group against another to fit their narrative & push their agenda. All people should be treated equally under the law. Lady Justice is blindfolded for a reason.

Time Magazine has named its finalists for Person of the Year. At the top of their list is President Zelensky of Ukraine. Also on the list are Xi Jinping of China, the US Supreme Court, Elon Musk, Ron DeSantis, Liz Cheney, MacKenzie Scott of Amazon, and the Iranian protesters. Some aren't happy about who's being considered.  But, why does this list matter? And, how can we use it to open up discussion?

Colorado graphic designer, Lorie Smith, is fighting for her right to free speech in front of the Supreme Court this week. She is taking on Colorado's anti-discrimination law that she says would "compel her to use her artistic talents, or speech, to create messages celebrating same-sex weddings."

Pay attention to what the media IS and is NOT talking about. The media controls the narrative. They shine a light on what they want the public to perceive as positive for their side and negative for the other. One story we've mentioned in passing, but the media is somewhat ignoring, is how Balenciaga ran a new fashion campaign sexualizing children. The fashion company hasn't been canceled, they haven't lost their bank accounts, and their celebrity clients for the most part are sticking with the brand.

Janet Yellen, Secretary of the Treasury, was on The Steven Colbert Show blaming the American people for inflation. Inflation is an increase in the amount of money. Inflating the money supply causes the value of each unit of money to go down. The government is to blame because they create the supply. They have created a bottleneck. However, according to Yellen, it's your fault for buying grills and office furniture.

New York Congressman Hakeem Jeffries has been elected to succeed Nancy Pelosi. Jeffries is the first black American to hold such a high-ranking position in Congress. In 2018, Jeffries tweeted, "The more we learn about the 2016 election the more ILLEGITIMATE it becomes. America deserves to know whether we have a FAKE president in the oval office." Of course, denying election results and legitimacy is okay for the radical left in the name of saving our democracy, but conservatives are vilified if the same claims are made.
