Paul says this bill contains most of the taxes & regulations of Obamacare. GOP is content to skip the entire August recess because they do not want to face their constituents & explain why they've done nothing. Remember, we were told Congress would have a 'repeal & replace' bill on Trump's desk on Inauguration Day January 20. Here we are 6 months later, and they haven't delivered. Howard Dean says GOP is morally bankrupt. Phil Donahue says this is the darkest moment in American political history. Some professors want scientists to stop citing straight white men in research in order to fight racism. Makes perfect sense, right? Caitlyn Jenner thinking of running for Senate. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson thinking of running for president. Some people think Trump won just because he was a celebrity - but there was a whole lot more to it than that.

Are Republicans close to passing new healthcare bill? Is it better than Obamacare? Is it good enough to truly improve the healthcare market? Free markets, low taxes and minimal government interference in the marketplace are the best solutions. Remember Democrats taunting Republicans for not being able to pass this? They may end up regretting it. Rand Paul cannot support it because he says it's no better than Obamacare. Doesn't change enough of the fundamental problems of Obamacare. Why not simply repeal like they did in 2016? Republican leadership's deficiencies. Prevent offense. Thank you to conservatives in Congress for moving legislation to the right. But is it good enough? Or just the best we can get? Donald Trump Jr's meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya. Russian narrative. Democrat strategy has been to obstruct & delay - and Russia is the perfect cover because it's a convoluted narrative full of innuendo & rumor. And it sounds problematic. At best, the meeting is problematic optically. But there still isn't anything to the Russian collusion story - even if Sen Merkley tells us it's a smoking gun. Why do some let Democrats use their character/morality against them? The Democrat Party is utterly corrupt. It nominates people like Hillary & Bill Clinton for president. It colludes to steal the nomination from Bernie. They empower evil empires by acting with weakness & apologizing. They divide people. Their policies harm people. And while Republicans also have corrupt characters, it's nowhere near the scale of the Democrats. The GOP's main problem is being weak. Playing prevent offense. Why must we weigh these things the same? If we're waiting for a perfect candidate to fight this political civil war, we're never going to win anything. Standing for morality & character doesn't mean you can only support perfection. Who has colluded with Russia - and in particular this Russian Natalia Veselnitskaya? Who's on her payroll? Who's candidate did she really support? Who gave her special admission to the US without a visa? She's popping up everywhere - like a game of Where's Waldo. Something else has upset liberals: Donald Trump was prayed over by Christian leaders in the Oval Office. They'd really flip out if they opened a history book & learned about the role of faith for the Founders and many presidents. Misconceptions of 'separation of church & state.'

Donald Trump Jr meets with Russian attorney with 'ties to the Kremlin.' Attorney arranged meeting under false pretenses that she'd be providing damaging information for Clinton Campaign. Instead, she wanted to discuss some obscure law that hurts Russia. What do we make of this? Is this really collusion? Was it poor judgment at the time - or is it only poor judgment in hindsight? Is this a 'smoking gun?' The media & liberals are fully invested in this story. This story has been rejuvenated with this development - and the media will ride this for quite some time. Conflating the meaning of collusion - and the evidence thereof. Senate agrees to bypass first 2 weeks of August recess. Trying to get more done - or trying to avoid angry constituents for getting nothing done? Will they actually get to work or will they continue playing prevent offense? Time will tell. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I also don't have much faith in the leadership. Hope my concerns are proven to be wrong.

Around November 15, 2016 - after a week of hosting cry-ins, coloring book parties & protests - Liberals finally recognized that Trump would, in fact, be president in January, 2017. So they immediately began planning how to obstruct him. And impeach him. They are now on a full-fledged witch hunt, having determined he needs impeached - but still searching for the crime. Donald Trump Jr guilty of treason? Come on. This is out-of-control. David Letterman says Trump would get fired from Dairy Queen. What's wrong with working at Dairy Queen? It's certainly better than living on government 'entitlements' without trying to improve your own circumstances. No work is beneath anyone - especially if you just need the income. What's beneath us is thinking something is beneath us. Hillary wants to campaign for Democrats in 2018. I could understand fundraising. But campaigning? I'd like to personally invite her to Indiana to campaign for Joe Donnelly. And even if she's not there literally, she is symbolically because the Democrat Party demands Democrat Senators vote in lock-step with one another. Republicans aren't like that - which is why they're having so much trouble passing healthcare. Of course, they could still use better leadership. The case of baby Charlie Gard. The parents have the money & want to do everything to save their child. Why can't they do that? This is one reason why people fear government taking control of healthcare. Parents should be making the call here - not the government.

Didn't they meet in the Kremlin to pop some vodka & plan how to steal the election from Hillary? How is this their first meeting? A few words on free market capitalism. What were things like before the American experiment changed the world? Capitalism has fed more people than any other ideology in the world because prosperity is a prerequisite for healthy charity. Free markets unleash the power of creativity in people & the competition of ideas & solutions in the marketplace. This creates solutions to problems & options for individuals to chose what works best for them. Leads us to discussion on Obamacare repeal/replace. McConnell says he may have to work with Democrats to pass healthcare. Bad idea - unless they've suddenly become believers in the free market! Obamacare is broken. Not talking about CNN today. They are a total joke & should not be taken seriously. We were told Obama was going to do great things, like restore the US's reputation in the world, but we're learning his leadership was even worse than we thought. North Korea disaster. Obamacare crumbles. White House warns North Korea we are willing to go to war to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons capable of hitting US. Jason Chaffetz says GOP hasn't gotten anything done legislatively - and he's right. Republicans don't want to face angry constituents during August recess. Will they 'work through' August recess? And is this designed to get things done or is it an attempt to avoid their constituents? Revisiting my thoughts yesterday about the 2 battles conservatives are facing: political & cultural. Balancing these 2 battles & knowing while they may certainly be linked, they are separate. And when we have power in government, we best advance our agenda & restore this great constitutional republic by promoting liberty & free markets.

This, CNN, is another 'bs' story. We're fighting 2 battles in America: political & cultural. My thoughts on this. Can we fight the political battle in an unrestrained fashion without compromising the cultural battle we also must fight & win? Wish I had more time to articulate it - but I'm out of time.

House passes Kate's Law & No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. Justin Amash says he voted against both because they violate the Constitution. Trump's tweets about Mika Brzezinski has gotten condemnation from all sides. 71% of Americans say Trump's tweets interfere with his agenda. Maybe. But the biggest interference with the conservative agenda is GOP leadership (or lack thereof) and the phony Russian narrative. Immigration ban takes effect. Enforcing immigration law.
