CNN has decided to cancel presidential town hall meetings due to the impeachment trial. Yesterday, the impeachment trial focused a lot on President Trump firing our Ukrainian ambassador & the connection between Ukraine interfering with the 2020 election. Adam Schiff and the Democrats lay out their case against President Trump to the Senate. Schiff's opening argument was almost 3 hours long! The American people deserve to know the truth. The Democrats are now demanding witnesses to be called in the Senate that they didn't even call in their own hearings in the House. All they want are the headlines that imply Republicans are hiding the truth from the American people. This impeachment process is more about the 2020 election than anything else.

Yesterday the impeachment trial of President Trump started in the Senate. This trial has been in the making basically since the night of the 2016 election. The democrats were using political theater, as usual.

Before we go full force into the impeachment trial, we want to take time and talk with US Army Lt. Col.(ret) Sargis Sangari. He was born and raised in Rezaiyeh (Urmia), Iran. He immigrated to the United States in 1980 at age ten after the Iranian Revolution. Mr. Sangari is a retired US Army Colonel who saw extensive combat in the Middle East as a Special Operations Forces soldier and who, after retirement, continues to advise the fledgling Assyrian Christian Army in Iraq known as Dwekh Nawsha with his military expertise. He's also running for Illinois's 9th Congressional seat.

The House of Representatives has impeached President Trump. He is one of 3 Presidents in history to be impeached - Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and now Donald Trump. The impeachment trial starts tomorrow in the Senate. Nancy Pelosi puts on another "solemn" show during the signing of the articles of impeachment. As do the Democrat member's delivering the articles to the Senate. But, is it really solemn & sad when you're handing out souvenir pens? It's all about appearances and politics. Now facing the impeachment trial in the Senate, there are grumblings that President Trump should not give the annual State of the Union address.

Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have a heated discussion after the debate on Tuesday night. The audio was released and they each accused the other of calling each other liars. The articles of impeachment have been signed and are ready to send over to the Senate.

Six Democrats took the stage in Iowa last night for the last debate before the Iowa Caucuses. As usual, the candidates used identity politics to make their points as to why they should be the next Presidential nominee. It's never about the substance of their ideas.
