Not talking about CNN today. They are a total joke & should not be taken seriously. We were told Obama was going to do great things, like restore the US's reputation in the world, but we're learning his leadership was even worse than we thought. North Korea disaster. Obamacare crumbles. White House warns North Korea we are willing to go to war to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons capable of hitting US. Mark Zuckerberg endorses guaranteed income for Americans. Can Cruz amendment to Obamacare repeal & replace bill get the legislation passed & on Trump's desk? Jason Chaffetz says GOP hasn't gotten anything done legislatively - and he's right. Republicans don't want to face angry constituents during August recess. Will they 'work through' August recess? And is this designed to get things done or is it an attempt to avoid their constituents? Revisiting my thoughts yesterday about the 2 battles conservatives are facing: political & cultural. Balancing these 2 battles & knowing while they may certainly be linked, they are separate. And when we have power in government, we best advance our agenda & restore this great constitutional republic by promoting liberty & free markets.

Man apologizes profusely. This is how the media wants it to work: you cross them, they find you and destroy you. Man Trump tackles in WWE video is Vince McMahon - husband of Linda McMahon, who is in Trump Administration. Who on earth would consider this an actual threat of violence against journalists or CNN? This, CNN, is another 'bs' story. We're fighting 2 battles in America: political & cultural. My thoughts on this. Can we fight the political battle in an unrestrained fashion without compromising the cultural battle we also must fight & win? Wish I had more time to articulate it - but I'm out of time.

House passes Kate's Law & No Sanctuary for Criminals Act. Justin Amash says he voted against both because they violate the Constitution. Trump's tweets about Mika Brzezinski has gotten condemnation from all sides. 71% of Americans say Trump's tweets interfere with his agenda. Maybe. But the biggest interference with the conservative agenda is GOP leadership (or lack thereof) and the phony Russian narrative. Immigration ban takes effect. Enforcing immigration law. Protecting Americans. Following Constitution. Are we violating the 10th Amendment? Hookers for Hillary have apparently morphed into Hookers for Healthcare. Democrats bringing out the big guns. CNN is in big trouble. Ratings are down. Project Veritas expose them for reporting on a self-described 'bull***t' story. So they bring in Elmo to provide commentary on refugees. I think they're onto something here, because when I watch their regular anchors & reporters, in my mind I already see a bunch of people with the credibility of a make-believe puppet. Freedom of speech. Freedom of the press. Dangerous to our republic? Network of darkness & corruption. The Left & the Media are out of cards to play. They are accustomed to raising the ante on GOP politicians & watching them fold, but Trump won't do that. He's more than happy to call their bluff & he will not back down. So now they try to change the subject. Make it about the Constitution suddenly. (When has the media & far Left ever cared about that, by the way?) But they're misrepresenting the First Amendment. Freedom of the press doesn't insulate them from criticism - even from the president, who also has freedom of speech. No one is censoring the media; they're just calling them out for their corruption. If Trump is responsible for any violence against journalists, simply by calling media fake news, then who's responsible for the riots in Ferguson? Remember how the media grossly misrepresented the truth & furthered the lie of 'hands up, don't shoot?' That led to the Black Lives Matter movement and rioting in Ferguson & elsewhere. 'Real Fake art' put directly in front of Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago. City claims it's not political & is a complete coincidence. Yet we're supposed to believe this convoluted 'Trump-Russia collusion' story without any hesitation. So stupid. Man up and just tell us what we all know to be true. Who's trying to shut anyone up here? More speech is good. Let the free marketplace decide whom to believe.

Project Veritas releases video of CNN producer calling the Russian narrative "bull***t." CNN admits to reporting these "bs" Russia stories for ratings. CNN defends producer in a statement - citing their commitment to diversity of opinion. What?! Haha! What a complete joke. CNN brings a panel of 'experts' on their shows - and 90% are liberal. No denial. No defense. Doubling down on being a fake news outlet. In a sane world, this would sink CNN. CNN is today's Brian Williams. Seattle $15/hr minimum wage hurting workers. Totally predictable to anyone who understands basic economics. CNN aired an hour-long special called "The Russian Connection" last night. The silly way the hack started with Podesta. Makes me wonder if he's awaiting $10 million from a Nigerian prince. CNN now telling us Democrat AND Republican political organizations are current targets of Russian hacks. Don't be fooled by their sleight of hand: this story has always been about Russia/Trump vs Democrats. CNN boss Zucker says his network is 'more trusted than ever.' Of course it is... Meanwhile, CNN mocks Republicans over delaying healthcare vote. Semi-professional wrestler in Kentucky named 'Progressive Liberal.' Funny stuff.

Democrats are still losing on many fronts. This, of course, can change - but we can now add the SCOTUS ruling to their list of losses. In a per curiam decision, the high court allows Trump's travel ban to be enacted, with some exceptions. But the spirit of the ban will be in effect. Illustrating why this isn't targeting Muslims, but rather Islamic extremists who believe it is their god-given duty to inflict acts of terror on those who don't share their worldview. The issue is with terrorism and those who encourage & harbor it shouldn't be allowed in the US. SCOTUS to take up full issue in October. Six Muslim nations vs the most populous Muslim nations in the world: Why aren't they the same if the religion itself is targeted? CNN rules on Russian stories cited as the reason 3 employees resign. But one of those isn't Jim 'Very Fake News' Acosta - who confronted Sean Spicer about the 'audio only' rules for his briefing. Where is Jim's creativity? This could be a potential gold mine for their next fake news story. A few more words about CNN, the cycle of fake news and their march towards complete irrelevance. Had the honor of baptizing one of my children over the weekend. Obamacare 'repeal & replacement' legislation in Senate. Now 6 GOP Senators oppose as legislation is written. Schumer gives GOP 50/50 odds of passing legislation. American University days. Democrats are only 'pro-choice' in 2 areas: abortion & marriage. The healthcare legislation process is not yet over. This legislation needs to be market & consumer focused - not government focused. Will Anthony Kennedy retire from the Supreme Court? If he does, get ready for all-out political war. Democrats will regret forcing nuclear option with Gorsuch. CNN said to be instituting new rules for any Russia story CNN reporters want to produce. Must get clearance from editors. You know this story has officially hit the bottom of the barrel when CNN is worried about losing credibility. What is the Democratic resistance movement resisting? When they resist small government & conservatism, they're resisting liberty.

It's a good thing I'm a conservative, not bitter host - because the way the GOP is handling the issue of the so-called repeal-and-replace Obamacare issue is maddening. Why not send the Obamacare repeal bill to Trump - just like they did Obama? Political gamesmanship. Lack of sincerity. Compare & contrast how Democrats & Republicans legislate & advance their agendas when in power is striking. Why do we accept that the federal government must solve all of our problems? What about the free market? What about delivering on the promise of full repeal? There have been 30 GOP Congressmen attacked or threatened since May. Political speech shouldn't stop - but the acts & threats of violence absolutely have to stop.

The Democrat Party is in utter shambles. Many now calling for Nancy Pelosi & House leadership to be replaced. They keep losing elections. They have no message. They only want to talk about 'Russia' - and I guess I would, too, if my party was in utter disarray. Big Government Liberals vow to fix problems with more government, more spending & more programs - but they always fail. They should pay politically for the consequences of their broken ideology. Rep Tim Ryan (D-OH) says Democrat brand is toxic outside of DC. Cher & Michael Moore are wanting new leadership. Many Democrats want Pelosi to be replaced. Democrat policies are an unmitigated disaster. Illinois is the latest example. The 'Venezuela of the Midwest.' Fight for control of the Republican & Democrat parties. Fight about healthcare. If GOP doesn't pass Obamacare repeal/replace, Democrats will move us toward single payer when they are in control. Trump in Iowa. Crowd loved it. Trump in his element. Encouraging. Republicans now have some momentum. Will they use it to further their agenda & put an end to the political sideshows?

It wasn't supposed to happen like this. Barack Ossoff lost in a runoff to Karen Handel. Democrats argued this was a referendum on Trump. Now, of course, Democrats tell us that wasn't a referendum. They tell us it was a very close race that was never supposed to be this tough for Republicans. It's a 'moral victory' for Democrats. Uh huh. Sure. Just look at the faces of CNN political reporters. Safe to say their guy lost, huh? I must've missed Democrats excoriating Ossoff for all the money he injected into this campaign. Ossoff spent $22 million+. Handel spent $14 million. 93% of donations came from outside GA? Enough prevent offense in Congress. Part of me wonders if they talk of canceling August recess so as to avoid being bombarded by angry constituents at town hall meetings back home. New York Times story about Michael Flynn having access to classified information, even though Trump Administration knew he was a blackmail risk by Russia. Who was the blackmail risk? How about Hillary?! Jim 'Very Fake News' Acosta tells us he's concerned about the lack of transparency in Trump Administration. I thought Trump was too transparent & active on Twitter? Isn't that where 'covfefe' came from, after all? CNN is more concerned about being irrelevant & losing their ability to control the narrative. But they still have way more power & influence than they should. Ossoff lost. Handel won. If the Media was consistent, they would say the referendum on Trump shows that the people of GA are pleased.
