April 14, 2017The Most Important Weekend in HistoryThe US drops the 'Mother of All Bombs' (Moab) on an Isis tunnel system in Afghanistan. Reports indicate that 36 Isis jihadis & 0 civilians were killed. Left still worried about proportionality. Trump delegates decisions like this to those closer to the field of battle, eliminating the influence of politics on the decision-making process. We need to strike to win & use the force required to win - not be paralyzed by silly factors. Dennis Kucinich & others on the Left are unsettled simply by using the bomb. Duquense University students oppose Chick-Fil-A on campus because of it's so-called 'questionable history on civil & human rights.' Are you kidding me? April 13, 2017Downsizing GovernmentStarting with a few things I couldn't get to yesterday. First, Trump is restructuring government to make it more efficient - and limited. Restoring limited government is going to be a process - and it's going to be a fight every step of the way. Professor calls for Trump to be hanged. Professor who predicted Trump would win in November now predicts Trump will be impeached. Sean Spicer's comments about Hitler & chemical weapons. The apology. The politics. The truth. North Korea showdown. A new nuclear test coming soon? Japan thinks North Korea has sarin-tipped missles. Article in The Guardian that says we shouldn't call North Korea crazy - and that we should view his actions as understandable from his point-of-view. The reality of why we stand here with North Korea. Border arrests are down because fewer folks are illegally crossing border - due to Trump's enforcement of the law. But the funding for the border wall may be on-hold to avoid a government shutdown - which of course would be blamed on Republicans....more56minPlay
April 12, 2017Why Didn't Obama Do That?Obama was supposed to usher in peace on earth by the power of his personality, but he left it on fire. He demonstrated that American weakness is indeed provocative. North Korea didn't happen overnight. Putin & Russia went from an Obama punchline 4-1/2 years ago to single-handedly the greatest threat to the American republic. Trump has been described as dangerous, volatile & reactive, but he's gotten China on board to stop North Korea's nuclear program. Jeff Sessions says catch & release policies are over, and if you're caught illegally trying to enter the US, you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. A comparison of how liberals & conservatives engage in political fights. There is a big difference between the US & North Korea having nuclear weapons - and the two are not morally equivalent. Estes wins seat vacated by Pompeo in Kansas, although it was much closer than in was in November election. Putin says trust for US has decreased under Trump. How did this not get figured into his calculations to help Trump 'steal the election?' Trump works to restructure the government to work more efficiently and to return us to a limited government. Draining the swamp....more56minPlay

Trump Administration says subsequent strikes on Syria are possible if they continue using chemical weapons. Susan Rice told us months ago Syria had no chemical weapons. Islamic extremists are waging a holy war on anyone not willing to accept their ideology & worldview - which includes Christianity. Trump & Syria. Trump doubles down. Tensions continue to rise. The Left suddenly needs more than emotional reasoning for policies. Getting a second medical opinion leads to different diagnosis a staggering 88% of the time. But if the patient is earth, and the doctor is a climate change scientist, the diagnosis only changes 3% of the time. And interestingly, the treatment always involves more government & less liberty. Scientists say large portions of the Great Barrier Reef will not recover from bleaching. Does Google pay women less than men? Does Elizabeth Warren pay women less? Some say no. But if the champions of closing the 'pay gap' cannot fix it in their own organizations, how on earth do they expect to 'fix' it nationally? Do we us biological gender when calculating these numbers?...more56minPlay

April 06, 2017Navigating SyriaSyrian city hit with chemical weapon attack. US blames Assad. Russia denies Assad to blame. Remembering Obama's red line. Complicated mess in Middle East. Big government dictator thug Assad versus a radical Islamic terrorist group (Isis). Big government killed millions in 20th Century. When is a humanitarian mission justified? Or should we only intervene when vital US interests are at stake? How do we properly weigh them? Trump won't tell media his plans, tells them 'you'll see.' Pence says 'all options are on the table with Syria.' Angela Merkel to the rescue: Germany passes bill that mandates social media sites to remove fake news or hate speech within 24 hours or face fines of up to $50 million. Faux outrage over Gorsuch, nuclear option. Senator Merkley (D-OR) speaks for over 15 hours - about nothing. McConnell says Democrats would filibuster Ruth Bader Ginsburg if that was Trump's nominee. April 05, 2017The Left Circles the Wagons Around RiceName another American who was caught up in 'foreign surveillance.' It's not common to know anyone unmasked - but we know Trump. Why? Chris Matthews says this is a diversion from Trump/Russia - and anyone who mentions the name 'Susan Rice' is a sexist & maybe a racist. Canadian national anthem going gender-neutral? Breitbart summarizes what we learned from Rice interview. Someone involved in the unmasking of Trump had to tell someone or we wouldn't be talking about it today. Reminds me of the story of Jesus' resurrection. Some mistakenly tell us the women never told anyone their story - but if they didn't, how is it recorded in the Gospel? The arguments Chris Matthews & his cast of liberals use to defend Susan Rice could, ironically, be applied almost verbatim to the Trump/Russia narrative. Gorsuch vote. The Left is intentionally misleading Americans through inaccurate propaganda emails. An actual partisan filibuster has never been used to reject a nominee. But there are examples in American history of the Senate not taking action on Supreme Court nominees. Two current justices, Thomas & Alito, both were confirmed with fewer than sixty votes (52 & 58, respectively). I know liberals aren't good with numbers, but they should know both of those are less than 60. Wish I had more time. Have a great day....more56minPlay
April 04, 2017Obstructionism & LawlessnessDemocrats have enough votes to filibuster Gorsuch. I can only imagine the begging & pleading required to get Senator Schumer to approve a Democrat senator's support of Gorsuch. Compare & contrast GOP healthcare vote with Democrat Gorsuch filibuster. Democrat leadership ensures members toe the line & vote as they demand. Will GOP change Senate rules or crumble under pressure? Why do Republicans have to answer all of the questions? Why don't Democrats have to tell us why they are filibustering Gorsuch? Why don't they have to explain their use of a partisan filibuster for a legitimate vacancy to be filled by an individual who passed their hearings with flying colors? This is fantastic: Sharon Stone spoken word tribute to Maxine Waters. Susan Rice reportedly made the call to unmask Trump officials. Is a Russian video to blame. Remembering the tragic Benghazi scandal. By the way, this has the appearance of a scandal much more so than the "Trump/Russia/Putin/Trump" accusations. Richard Milhous Obama? What about 'two speech rule?'...more56minPlay
