Billions of dollars each year are lost to retailers worldwide from theft. Every crime has two elements the act itself and the mental intent to commit the crime. There are certain crimes that are specific intent crimes whereby the mental intent is not included as an element of proof. New Clean Slate Laws to take affect in 2021 will remove prior criminal convictions after a period of 7 years for misdemeanors & 10 years for certain felony convictions. 

Marijuana convictions will now be automatically expunged under certain formulas in 2021.

New Jersey voters consider constitutional changes to allow recreational marijuana in The Garden State.

The City of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, followed a flawed process in determining which companies should be granted recreational marijuana permits. A number of existing medical marijuana dispensaries originally granted license by city were denied the ability to transition to full recreational provision center. The city showed no loyalty or appreciation to families and or business owners whom have given much to the community in years past.
