Naoya Inoue stopped TJ Doheny in the 7th round after delivering a paralyzing combination to the body.  Inoue remains perfect and has successfully defended the Undisputed Throne for a second time.  "The Monster" will be returning in December against likely opponent Sam Goodman.

"Sugar" Nunez stopped Marriaga, Chev Clarke had a successful U.S debut and Ginny Fuchs lifted the WBC interim Title from the Undefeated LA native Adelaida Ruiz.

Christian Mbilli improves to (28-0) 23 KOs as he gets the decision victory over veteran boxer Sergiy Derevyanchenko (15-6) 10KOs.

This was without a doubt the toughest test of Mbilli's career, and he passed the test successfully, yet managed to raise more questions than provide answers.

The Super-Middleweight division landscape is full of talented contenders, and it will be interesting to see who emerges and carries the torch going forward in a post CANELO era.

A sure shot candidate for "Fight Of The Year", Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs Serhii Bohachuk had people on the edge of their seats both in the arena and those watching at home.  They tested each others' chins, will, spirit and determination.  Each fighter's unwillingness to give an inch to the other, translated to a high paced showdown that in the end, we the fans, walked away as the winners.

Ortiz Jr. edged out the victory on two of the three scorecards by only a one round margin.  Ortiz Jr. lifts the Interim Title from Bohachuk and will either proceed to an immediate rematch or a likely possible showdown versus Terence "Bud" Crawford.

Angelo Leo has been chipping away and mastering his craft ever since he arrived at the Featherweight division.  After Leo lost his belt via decision against Stephen Fulton at 122lbs, Leo moved one division north, began carving his path and piling up wins enroute to a title shot opportunity.  His chance came this past Saturday, against veteran Luis Alberto "VENADO" Lopez, and Leo refused to let this opportunity slip away from him.  LEO took matters into his own hands and dethroned the visiting champion by delivering a huge knockout in front of his home crowd.

Verde walks away with the Silver Medal for Mexico. A feat that had not been accomplished by a Mexican since 1984. For the US, Omari Jones was the sole boxer to medal, walking away with the Bronze.

Crawford's perfect record remains intact, and "BUD" is now a 4th division champion.  Crawford's 154lb. debut is a success and has the world at his feet.  He can continue to seek a match-up with Canelo or the likes of Tszyu, Ortiz Jr. or Charlo.
