Jackson. In this episode, Ben describes to Tommy what they actually look like and how close his guesses were.

Follow up to “What Are The Differences Between Born Blind & Becoming Blind?” - It was a collaboration featuring Christine Ha (winner of MasterChef season 3). Ben asked Tommy and Christine the same questions about topics like dreaming, eye surgery, and if they wish they were born blind or lost their sight later in life. People seemed to enjoy the video, so we thought this would be a good opportunity to share some of the extras from the shoot. Tommy and Christine talk about what they visualize in their minds, whether or not they turn on their lights at home, and what they would tell sighted people so they would have a better appreciate for having the ability see.

Tommy Edison teams up with Christine Ha (winner of MasterChef season 3) to show the differences between being blind since birth like himself and becoming blind later in life like Christine by having director/producer Ben Churchill asking each of them the same questions about topics like dreaming, eye surgery, and if they wish they were born blind or lost their sight later in life. Tommy’s blindness is caused by an underdeveloped optic nerve and Christine’s blindness is caused a rare autoimmune disease called Neuromyelitis Optica.
